Description of the Issue
The manual describes the following behavior for the /noUpdater parameter:
Disables the N++ inherent automatic updates (it does not install the WinGUP & PluginsAdmin updating components).
However when a previous version of Notepad++ is already installed, updating to a newer version with the /noUpdater parameter does not remove the WinGUP & PluginsAdmin components.
Steps To Reproduce
- npp.8.8.5.Installer.x64.exe /S /closeRunningNpp
- npp.8.8.9.Installer.x64.exe /S /noUpdater /closeRunningNpp
Current Behavior
After updating Notepad++ with the /noUpdater parameter, the WinGUP & PluginsAdmin will still be present.
Expected Behavior
After updating Notepad++ with the /noUpdater parameter, the WinGUP & PluginsAdmin should be removed.
