Description of the Issue

Vertical tab bar is messed up after update to v8.7.9 on windows 24h2

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Open Notepad++ with two documents or more text files

  2. Disable vertical tab bar (Settings > General > Tab Bar > Vertical)

  1. Enable vertical tab bar (works fine)

  1. Close Notepad++ and reopen

Current Behavior

Vertical tab bar is a mess

Expected Behavior

no change in vertical tab bar after restarting Notepad++

Workaround:
Go to Settings > General > Tab Bar > Vertical and turn it OFF and then ON again to restore vertical tab bar
