Description of the Issue
I wanted to disable the CTRL-W shortcut as I switch between nano and notepad++ and I was constantly closing files in notepad++ on accident. So I went into the shortcut mapper, and right clicked the Close shortcut and cleared it. But now when I press CTRL+W it inserts the special character ETB?
Steps To Reproduce
- Click Settings, Shortcut Mapper
- Right click on the Close CTRL-W shortcut and click Clear
- Press CTRL-W with a document open
Current Behavior
ETB is inserted into document when a key mapping is not even defined for CTRL-W
Expected Behavior
ETB should not be inserted, nothing should happen as the shortcut is cleared. The input should just be ignored by notepad++
