Description of the Issue

Setting Recent Files History values should be directly in preference dialog instead of using link with "mini" dialogs

Steps to Reproduce the Issue

1. Open Preference->Recent Files History
2. Click on link text to change value

Expected Behavior

Change values directly in preference dialog.

Actual Behavior

Use "mini" dlgs to change values.
