Description of the Issue

I am quite glare sensitive, so I use dark mode on Windows and on any tools, including Visual Studio and NotePad++. This leads to a problem on NotePad++ each time I open the application. Upon launch, NotePad++ flashes the entire screen (I operate full screen on one of my monitors) a brilliant white before settling into my chosen dark mode theme. This brings tears to my eyes and generates a blinding headache.

Steps to Reproduce the Issue

1. Launch NotePad++
2. Set Dark Mode in settings
3. Close NotePad++
4. Launch NotePad++ again
5. The screen flashes a brilliant white before honoring my dark mode preference

Expected Behavior

NotePad++ to honor my dark mode setting upon launch, WITHOUT a flashing white screen.

Actual Behavior

The screen flashes white at launch before honoring my dark mode preference.
