Delete branch "%!s()"

I learned today about the hard repos limit per user (100) when the migration of my repos from gitlab failed with
Project account_batch_invoice import failed: {"message":"You have already reached your limit of 100 repositories.","url":"https://codeberg.org/api/swagger"}
Most of my repos are modules for the Tryton framework, kept in separate repos. For someone doing Tryton integration/development a number of up to 400-500 repos is not unusual, alone the base modules of Tryton consist of almost 200 repos.
I couldn't find any hint to this limit in the FAQ nor in Terms of Use. I think it would be a good idea to add this limit primarily to those docs.
FTR I doubt about the advantage to set such a limit and what it should achieve in terms of hosting. If for example those Tryton modules were in a big monorepos featuring subrepos it wouldn't be a problem, but in terms of space virtually the same. And there is software out there in single repos exceeding the size of the whole Tryton suite by multiple.
So I ask you to reconsider this limit. If it is subject to be generally enforced codeberg is sadly not for me.
Thanks for your work on codeberg!
Hey, some limits have been decided after the Terms of Use were in place, and I think it is nice to adjust them on the fly.
But yes, it might be a good idea to note them down somewhere.
(Your repo limit was increased to 500 now).
Thanks!
Still get {"message":"You have already reached your limit of 100 repositories.","url":"https://codeberg.org/api/swagger"}. Is the limit already in place? Is it also valid for organization 'MBSolutions' created by me and to wihch I am importing?
Ah no, it doesn't apply to the organization. I will fix it.
Worked now, thx!
Is the following true?
"On Codeberg.org, users can create an unlimited number of public and private repositories. However, there are some limitations on the use of private repositories.
For free accounts, the maximum number of private repositories is limited to 3. If you need more private repositories, you can upgrade to a paid plan, which allows you to have an unlimited number of private repositories."
Thanks for the answer to my question!
No, it is not. There is no paid plan, and the repo limit does not distinguish between public and private repos.
Thank you!
Hi, sorry if this is not the place to ask this, but I'm using Codeberg with a group of students and asking them to create repositories to submit their work. I use it as a practical and embodied example to talk about F/LOSS.
The group is https://codeberg.org/UI-Programming-23-24
We've hit the 100 repos limit, but actually I anticipate that we'll need upwards of 500 repos with my current lesson plan. In the past my student groups would be >20 learners, this year I have ~50 in this module.
I did not know that there were limits on numbers of repos (I read through TOS, but I might not have read the right docs?), and I completely understand that 500 repos is a lot, are there any solutions to this issue apart from asking for an increase?
Thanks and best regards,
Colm

Thank you very much @fnetX
Hi, I've been porting several games to mobiles and currently reached the 100 repository limits. It would be a pitty to split the work on different servers so I was wondering if it is possible to increase that limit and I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this.
@glitchapp take a look at https://codeberg.org/Codeberg-e.V./requests
Thank you, I opened an issue with the template there.
